From the ground up.

Helping others has always been a passion of mine. My parents taught me how to mow our lawn, plant, mulch, trim etc ever since I was a little boy. My parents would always take me and my brothers to the local nurseries over the weekend to buy various flowers, shrubs, and mulch then later teach us the proper techniques to plant and lay mulch.

The neighbors would (and till this day) compliment our yard for it’s beautiful landscaping. My older brother Alex got motivated by seeing this as an opportunity to start his own local lawn care business as a teenager. He hired me to help assist him as he grew his business in the neighborhood. Overtime, he lost interest in the business and decided to start another venture while passing on his clients over to me. Fast forward to January 2016, we received 30 inches of snow. I ended making more money during that 3 day snowfall in my neighborhood than I did working two weeks at my regular part time job.

That opportunity turned into more lawn maintenance clients for the upcoming Spring. As my clientele grew by providing quality service I was motivated and decided to quit my job and start WHITAKER Lawn & Outdoor Services.

Mowing

Our mowing service includes edging sidewalks and driveways. We will also blow the extra grass clippings off from the sidewalks, patios, driveways, and street to give your property a clean appearance.

Mulching

Take back your weekend and allow us to improve your current landscaping and flower beds with fresh mulch.

Shrub & Tree Trimming

We take pride in maintaining clean and healthy flowers beds. We offer trimming and shrub removal services that will keep your flower beds looking fresh!

Planting

Brighten up your property's appearance by adding some fresh flowers, shrubs, and/or trees!

Leaf Removal

Lawn cleanups require a lot of hard work and time so why not let us do the hard work for you. We provide a leaf/debris removal (hauling) from your lawn, landscaping, and flower beds.

Weed Control (April - October)

Weeds can be an eye sore in your landscape beds, patios, driveways, and sidewalks. As a solution, we provide monthly weed control services from April - October.

Soil Test

Soil test are important because it helps our experts determine where your soil stands on the pH scale. This will allow us to determine how much fertilizer and lime will be needed for your property so we can achieve high quality results!

Pre Emergent Fertilizer

March/April is the best time to get a head start on controlling the new growth of crabgrass. Our pre-emergent fertilizer will help prevent early spring germination while giving your lawn the proper nutrients it needs. This fertilizer will also help green up your lawn as well!

Post Emergent Fertilizer

May/June is the best time to control broadleaf weeds before they invade your entire lawn. Our post - emergent fertilizer will treat broadleaf weeds while giving your lawn the proper nutrients heading into the summer. This fertilizer will also help maintain its green appearance following our pre emergent service.

Liquid Weed Control

Spot Spraying is very important for treating weeds that need more attention. We use a non - selective herbicide that won’t damage your lawn and will kill weeds throughout your lawn in as little as a hours. This service is recommended following our pre - emergent and post - emergent application for maximum results.

Grub Control

Grubs can really play an important role in damaging your lawn. Our grub preventer fertilizer will prevent grubs from appearing so you can maintain a healthy lawn even during the hot summer months. June/July is the best time to apply this insecticide.

Summer Fertilizer

The heat during the summer time can be very brutal on cool season grasses. We will apply a slow release fertilizer application that will give your lawn the proper nutrients to combat summer stress. This fertilizer will also help green up your lawn during the summer as well.

Fall Aeration & Overseeding

Core aeration will allow three inch plugs (holes) to be placed in your lawn to improve soil, control thatch, and increase root development. This service also opens up airways for water and fertilizer to reach the root system.

Starter Fertilizer

Starter fertilizer is highly recommended after your lawn has been aerated and seeded. Starter fertilizer will help give your lawn the proper nutrients it needs in order to enhance the root growth. This is also a slow release fertilizer which help the appearance of the lawn as it recover the summer stress.

Winter Fertilizer

Our slow release fertilizer will help your lawn the right amount of nutrients to endure the upcoming cold winter months.
